Active 55+
The CTS Active 55+ Program is designed to help older adults stay active, connected, confident, and engaged through sports, movement, and community participation.
We believe it is never too late to begin, return to, or rediscover movement.
Many adults step away from sports due to injury, health concerns, life changes, confidence barriers, or simply not feeling welcome in traditional athletic environments. CTS aims to change that by creating low-pressure, beginner-friendly programs where participants can move at their own pace in a supportive and social atmosphere.
The Active 55+ pathway focuses not only on physical wellness, but also on:
social connection,
emotional well-being,
mobility,
balance,
coordination,
confidence,
and healthy aging through movement.
Programs may include:
beginner tennis,
table tennis,
pickleball,
social volleyball,
light basketball activities,
coordination & movement sessions,
community social play events.
No prior sports experience is required.
WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM DIFFERENT
Beginner-Friendly Environment
Our programs are designed specifically for adults who may feel intimidated by traditional sports settings or who are returning to movement after many years away. Social Connection & Community
CTS emphasizes fun, encouragement, and meaningful human connection. Participants are encouraged to build friendships, support one another, and enjoy movement without pressure or judgment.
Flexible & Accessible Participation
Programs are designed to accommodate different ability levels, comfort levels, and physical needs whenever possible.
Multi-Sport Opportunities
Participants can explore different sports and activities in order to discover what feels enjoyable, sustainable, and motivating for them personally.
Wellness Through Movement
The focus is not elite competition — it is lifelong wellness, healthy aging, confidence, mobility, and staying connected through activity.
