Adaptive and Inclusive Sports

ADAPTIVE & INCLUSIVE SPORTS

NO WRONG WAY TO PLAY

CTS believes sports participation should not be limited by age, ability, experience level, mobility, confidence, or background.

Our goal is to create environments where individuals feel comfortable exploring movement, building confidence, and participating in sports in ways that work for their own body, pace, and comfort level.

Our programs are designed for individuals with physical, developmental, sensory, cognitive, or other challenges who may not always feel comfortable or represented in traditional athletic environments. CTS focuses on creating positive, beginner-friendly experiences where participants can build confidence, improve mobility and coordination, stay active, and develop meaningful social connections at their own pace.

Rather than focusing solely on competition or performance, our goal is to create environments where athletes feel:

welcomed,

supported,

respected,

included,

and empowered.

Programs may include:

adaptive tennis,

adaptive table tennis,

beginner movement & coordination activities,

inclusive volleyball and basketball activities,

social sports sessions,

family participation opportunities,

and community wellness events.

CTS works to adapt instruction, equipment, communication styles, and court environments whenever possible to support participant success and comfort.

WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM DIFFERENT

Beginner-Friendly Environment

No prior sports experience is required. Participants are encouraged to progress at their own pace in a positive and judgment-free setting.

Inclusive Coaching Approach

Our coaches focus on encouragement, adaptability, patience, confidence-building, and individualized support rather than pressure or performance expectations. Community & Connection

Sports are used not only for physical activity, but also to help participants build friendships, confidence, routine, and a stronger sense of belonging.

Family Support & Participation

Whenever appropriate, family members and caregivers are encouraged to participate and support the athlete’s experience.

Multi-Sport Opportunities

CTS aims to provide access to multiple sports and movement pathways so participants can discover activities they genuinely enjoy.
